I'm an MS Paint man, myself. The sig looks great (you know, especially for a less-experienced photoshop user). Comments -- Pro: * Great color scheme... captures the 69er font/style well, pleasing to look at (you know, as opposed to gaudy junk all over) * Good balance -- avoids clutter, presents simple eye movement between the helicopter, the sniper, and the BF2 logo. * Area usage -- nice widescreen format with the black shutters, good choice of a full-coverage background image. Con: * err... what do the medals signify? The only two medals you've ever gotten? Your favorite ones? The two that represent you the best? I found them kind of random. * To me, the blades of the helicopter seem to be at rest despite the fact that it's floating off the ground Hmm... Live well, die free?

Yes the medals are the only two ive been awarded... and yes the Photoshop for Dummies book comes in handy .... the helo blades were kind of a stumper for me.... but ty for the comments... As far as the quote its from a movie... not all that great of one but i love the saying so i use it... can you guess where its from?

No, of course not -- that model's too happy (in that fake, model style) to be me in the first place. Too much time on my hands? Well, I love doing little things like that (provided I now have an excuse to use Photoshop). Didn't take very much time in the first place: 1) grab a lame picture of a guy "holding coffee" off of google->image search. 2) grab a picture of "Battlefield 2 C4" off of google -> image search. 3) Cut the image of the man out of the background -> insert into its own layer (give that layer a drop shadow and small internal shadow. 4) Make a background layer -> fill with gradient (white->gray, diamond). 5) Cut the image of the C4 out of the background -> insert into its own layer (give it a drop shadow and an internal shadow). 6) Copy/paste the c4 layer two dozen times, resize/move/rotate each. 7) Add clever text, give it a green external glow. 8) Crop, convert to JPEG. 9) Post on Team69er forums, collect compliments and lots of money .

Okie, Jack, I played around with photoshop a bit and came up with this. Might solve your blades problem. If you have a backup layers version of your sing [you do, right?] just delete the old 'copter and put this one in. Also, give the whole image a slight sharpening [Unsharp Mask. Give it these foolproof values 140, 1.0, 0 in order] Then select just the text and give it the Unsharp Mask values, and Sharpen Edges. Unless you're using anything below the 5.0 version, your Pshop should have these menu choices. *rereads* God, I sound like some kind of dork, don't I? -- Ryland's GF who's real name is Sheika but doesn't mind being known as "The Female".
