THanks! its a reg length .50 dersert eag. As cool as they look and how high tech they are, i really like them, but ive heard some bad things about them. ANd as far as practicality..... they hold 7+1 round and kick like a mofo... so ive heard. But as far as round capacity, that is lame, a 380 holds 13+1 rounds and will still kill a person good. Oh yeah and they cost liek around 2 grand.
I still think the concept of a 50 caliber pistol is bass ass though.

thanks freak! so i take it they so suck? Im sure the 357 and other smaller calibers are much nicer and much more practicle.

We rented one @ a local Shop, I was done with it after 5 minutes. I'll take a .357 Revolver or a 9mm to own. FreAk

However not many handguns in the world you can hunt drop a bear with...Having been to Alaska many times...the DE Action Express .50 sells quite well to outdoorsmen. As it is relatively small for its stopping power. The recoil of the weapon is not really an issue to me because it is heavy. Granted, its not a good combat weapon, because its big and slow where you need agile and fast. The best round for home defense would have to be .357 glaser in a revolver for ease of operation. My second choice would be a good ol Springfield Armory 1911 .45 ACP. If you get up, after a .45cal hole gets put in your chest, you are a bad mo-fo my friend.

Last time i was at wades firing range a guy that worked there showed me a 50 caliber revolver and the rounds were the lentgh and size of my thumb! it looked like a round from a shotgun. The friggen gun was over a foot long. Now THAT would be a dope gun to have. He said it was a lot better than the DE. Plus revolvers never jam!!! Now I want to go shootin..... people hhhaaa JK, but baby seals might be fun!!!
