Tournament Play
• The tournament is based on a single elimination format. As soon as a team receives one loss, they will be eliminated from the tournament.
• 1st round map selection will be conducted by Gen.Steve via a coin toss with the 2 team captains.
Minimum players
• 7 per team
Map Rotation
• round1: Fall of Lang Vei
round2: Khe Sahn
round3: Quang Tri 1968
Format: The match play is Conquest mode.
• First team to win 2 rounds wins.
• If there is a tie Round #3 shall be handled in this fashion:
The team that has the highest ticket total for Rounds 1 and 2 shall choose the side. In the event that both teams total tickets are the same, the "Home" team shall chose the side.
• *A 10-minute break is allowed between server switches. Rounds played on the home team's server should have no more than a 5-minute break.
• To ensure the match starts correctly, there will be an initial period of no movement or killing. This is to allow each player to load the map and enter the server. Once both teams have every member present, a server admin will issue the
• "admin.gamepause" command will be used to allow for team chat and global chat but freeze any player movement. Once both squads have announced through captains of their readiness, the server admin will issue a map restart command which will restart the map without completely reloading the map selected for a particular week.
• Only the Team Captain(s) is(are) to talk on GLOBAL chat.

Tournament Rules
The following are NOT permitted in Battlefield: Vietnam gameplay while participating in a match for the Zone:
1. Switching teams after being killed in order to observe the other team's players
2. Removing the other team's players by means of kicking or vote kicking
3. Changing the map
4. Dead players communicating with live players via the console during match play
5. Use of any client-side modification that enhances your aim (including aimbots but not including custom crosshairs).
6. Exploiting map bugs
7. Any client side mod that changes fog distances i.e. No fog or less fog
8. Any client side mod that changes the skins to aid in friendly/enemy difference i.e. red/green/pink helmets
9. Not following any of the specific rules above (it is a great idea to be aware of all these rule and to have them at hand before starting a server and during the match)
Violation of ANY of these will result in an automatic forfeit and potentially expulsion from the tournament.
