Damn, Haole... you sure have your ways of convincing the wife quickly that BFV is a necessity! Good job, recruit! Maybe you may have a gfx card driver problem?

Get a new video card. That solves the problem. There is a thread that rocket started on video cards, which was really informative to me. check it out I think it was under tech support. Happy upgrading.

You may not have to do something as drastic as getting a video card. Try updating your drivers first, then if that doesn't work, clean up your hard drive and reinstall the software. Now if that doesn't work, then you may have a problem. Which is too bad, considering you may have to buy a new video card, and you have made a comment that you are tight on funds. Cross your fingers that it is your current driver.

First, I would set your video settings to low or medium. You vid card just makes the minimum for BFV. Second, I would update your video drivers. You can get them here: www.nvidia.com/content/drivers/drivers.aspIf that doesnt work, you can try unistalling and reinstalling the game. Last resort = new video card .

I have read that the MX Nvidia cards aren't supported by BFV. You may be screwed.... I had to buy a new video card to play the original BF late 2002. I wasn't too happy about it, but it turned out to be the best investment I ever made with my computer. I hope that you just decide to save your pennies and buy a video card that is supported by the game. Really.. the game is excellent, and IMO, better than the original. Don't give up!

Damn Haole! I can't believe you play as good as you do with an MX card! Unfortunately the games we play require some high end equipment. Believe me, a major reason why I play as well as I do is my equipment is top notch. You may not notice the advantages until you play on a lesser rig, but then it becomes very apparent. It's sort of like watching all your movies in DVD then suddenly watching one in VHs. You will definitely notice the difference.

Agreed, like Sean said, to boost total system performance get rid of excess clutter on your hard drive and run a disk defragmenter to boost performance more than one might expect. Where you at on RAM Haole? Ram is a much cheaper upgrade and can do quite alot to speed things up. I curently have 1500 mb and I wish this damn computer would take more! RAM is quite inexpensive these days. Another huge advantage here is the ability to spawn first. Not many people, cept maybe Sheep spawn before me on a map. Kinda unfair advantage, but legal nonetheless.

You have to buy Dell parts? Say it isn't so! It must be a warranty issue. Remind me never to buy a Dell just for that reason...
