I've been keeping my feet on the ground lately, kinda lost the excitement in flying... Maybe I just need a new joystick.

Fellas, I had the flying night of my career tonight on 42'. You pilots know when you get in that zone and cant miss? I was in that zone! My bombing kill rate was about at 90% first bomb kills vs tanks. Midnight and I were playing Gazala and just whooped them. They were all targeting me and I had 2 Me109's and 1 Spitfire all in a big furball, I decided if I wanted to live live I needed to take drastic measures, so I dove for the ground and zipped under a bridge, a Me109 followed and clipped his wing into the bridge. I then pulled straight up into the vertical (not smart vs. skilled pilots) and J-turned right behind the spitfire, one quick burst and he was gone. The last one was actually on my tail and got distracted by Midnights bomber flying by, and made that critical speed bleeding left to right yank to go for the easy prey, shortly thereafter the hunter became the hunted and lost all situational awareness as the monkey rolled right onto his six for the kill. My final score was 72/72/1. All of this without ever camping their airfield. Not sure if BFV will ever invoke this kind of feeling..I guess time will tell. I have to say that Jose3 and Alley Viper took the brunt of my bombs and never really complained.. They just kept attacking and fighting, Jose3 came in second as axis with 69/20/29 or something close to that. I gotta say, I sure do still love the Vanilla.

LOL, I was watching your score Monkey. Dang!
With the helos in BFV, you could rack up some insane numbers as well. The bonus is that you can cap flags too.

Lol I was in most of those tanks.
That was a fun game. Monkey must have killed me at least 20 times... my total deaths was like 29. Seemed like every time I spawned somewhere I heard his engine roaring toward me.
I gotta say I tied 3rd in that one tho... got tied in the last few seconds and got pushed off the board by deaths ;D

Monk, you gotta find yourself a good copilot for the helos... XL and I racked up some major kills in BFV last week. Me piloting the cobra and its ground attack rockets, and XL manning the cannon and heatseakers... We took out jets, tanks, and other helos with this combo... and pretty much went untouched... cept for one mofo crashing his plane into us... but besides that, untouched...

Yes, indeed I need to feel that spark from BFV and then I will be able to make the transition...Can we plan a BFV night with everyone? It would be great to play with the boyz...how about Wednesday night?

I'm usually on every night, playing with myself in the bush... Knuckles jumps on once in awhile and we get some 1v1... VR's still having his little sit down strike against BFV refusing to play, He's pretty adament about sticking with BF42... Red's out of commission till he finishes moving, and gets his internet connection back, and pretty soon XL's gonna have a little XS running to take care of... hopefully we all can get on soon... Wednesday sounds good to me... I have the server up every night....

OMG..
Tonight on Tobruk map was incredible... It was about 8-ish on 8-ish? YZF, Midknight, Alley Viper, Haole, Monkey, Jose, and some other nobodys had an EPIC battle. All our team scores were, IIRC, minimum 50 and over. I had something like 50/25/15, AND I DIDN'T EVEN PLACE IN THE METALS. I kept sneaking into the axis base and boobytrapping tank (mines) and stealing Tigers. Flags went back and forth constantly, tanks fragments all over the place & bodies falling from the sky. YZF is a GOD! Awesome kills for Viper. Haole owned in his M10, Midknight & Monkey joined in late though, but evened the teams up.
*69* to my fellow teammates for the support & for the shells in my face.
