Just wanted to pat myself in the back for being the number one player on ATF Hump'em and Dump'em (according to BF Tracks). Patric is number one on our server. I'm also number 36 overall - top 25 here I come! I've got about a day's worth of playing over Patric which is why I'm so far ahead. The rest of you guys need to find some priority in your lives and play some more BF! Anyway, this can be the thread where you can share your, or someone elses, best exploits. Exaggeration, just as in fishing stories, is a virtue here. Let me tell you about my Hit and Run last night in Market Garden. After capturing all the spawn points virtually by myself, I roll out of the church with my stolen Tiger (thanks to the sucker who bailed at the sound of plinking expacks). I have no air support so I decide to spawn camp with this beautiful Tiger. I make it over the Iron Bridge and what do I see? A Panzer rolling up the ramp, oh how quaint! One hit and the sucker is smoking. Uh oh, is that a Tiger I see coming up the embankment...this is getting interesting. Luckily the Tiger's line of fire is blocked by the Panzer. Good, this is too easy! Another hit and the Panzer explodes... time to focus on Tiger still behind the wreckage of the Panzer. Oh sheit, a volkswagon just pulled up and now the guy is dropping expacks on me! The Panzer's wreckage is about to disappear and the Tiger will be clear to fire. I bail, and the engineer is about to press the plunger. I shoot him once, but it doesn't kill him, and he hops in my Tiger. His machine guns are now blazing, but I'm dancing and weaving and he misses me and I get out of the line of fire. I'm dropping landmines, but I can't stay too close to the Tiger or the explosion will kill me. The other Tiger meanwhile doesn't shoot because he doesn't want to kill/injure his teammate. I'm running from the Tiger when it explodes on a landmine. I'm injured but alive. The other Tiger unloads on me. I've got 3 bars of health left. There's the volkswagon, smoking, but not smouldering, I hop in and take off! The Tiger's armor piercing shells don't have much splash damage so the wagon is able to take another indirect hit. I'm flying like a bat out of hell over the Iron Bridge. Shells and machine gun fire are exploding and ricocheting all around me and I'm laughing like the Devil. I make it all the way to the metal X's (I don't know what those things are called... you know the obstacles meant to stop tanks) thinking I'm homefree, when the world quickly fades....DAMMIT! The Tiger got me! Was it a bullet or a shell I don't know. I didn't live through it, but it was a glorious moment in fragging history.

Okay, since you asked.
It was at Wake, there were about 20 players. The tickets were pretty even. I was Axis and we had made a big push north and eventually captured all flags. Prior to this, it was obvious that my team had things well in had, so I jumped in a boat and started my way to the southern flag. As you all know, in a situation like that, the remaining Allied team would likely try to cap the farthest flag from where all the action is. And like clockwork, the south flag immediately goes gray. I reach land the same time the flag goes red white and blue. I blitz in with my type99. Bam, bam, bam like Emeril, I kick it up a notch and off 3 guys. I run into the bunker, top off my health and change mags at the same time. 3 seconds later, I run out and use my Quake skills, running circles around them. 3 more gone and I go back for seconds at the bunker. One more zig-zagging tour around the camp, about 2 or 3 more cold bodies and I jump back into the bunker. I put my Rambo face on, jump outta the bunker but see no more Allied. Keep in mind that the I had been keeping the flag gray since I entered the camp. I look at the player list and see all Allied are dead. Huffing and puffing, I go prone right next to the flag, it turns, the tickets count down and game over! As my screen freezes, I catch a glimpse of the rest of my team rolling in, just outside the camp.

LOL!!! Great stories fellas...Ron what do you have against happy endings? Damn you...you could have fibbed the ending a bit. My crowning moments are mostly engineer class...My fav is when you got some damn enemy engineer circling around your tank throwing goodies, you jump out and by some miracle shoot him in the face with your engineer rifle...only really happens on our server for me (Guess its ping related) Oh I killed 5 guys at once with the bomber on market garden this weekend...they were coming over the large bridge....1 panzer w/gunner, 1 Tiger, and an APC w/gunner...Kinda cool to see the screen fill up with [Monkey]69er™ killed X.

hmm... This one time in BF Camp..... hehe.. well anyways.. lets see.. toot my own horn... One time on Gazala, I took out one whole clan in one strafing run... all 5 of them... i didn't even use a bomb... hmm.. then last night on battle of the bulge.. i shot Red in the face protecting the Windmill... and took out a tank with a bazooka cause he over pursued me over a hill and jumped his tank over me, then i proceeded to blast him the ass with the zooka... Hmmm i recall one time playing against Sheep while he was still in ZOO... We were on Guadal Canal, and I wing tip clipped him atleast 3 times... and bombed him a couple more... ;D just a couple memorable moments...

Great story M@! Friggin awesome, I felt the Power and the Glory! For the rest of you, add a little bit of flair to your battle tales. Everyone knows EZ is an awesome pilot. How about: "So there I was flying in my Zero, the infinite blue dome of the sky around me, swooping like a bird of prey. Below me I spotted my quarry. Running along the ridgeline, like some kind of 2 legged mountain goat...lo and behold, it was SHEEP! Sneaky bastard trying to flank one of the Guadalcanal hilltops. I know he hears my plane, but he figures I don't see him. I'm powerdiving...I know he hears me know 'cause my engining is screaming like a Banshee. OHH! He turns around as I grill him in the face! On my rear cam I watch his body fly in a perfect arc off the side of the mountain." Now doesn't that sound better? Your posts will be graded.

I'm actually going to Toot Red's and YZF's horn. These bastards played incredibly well tonight...better than I've ever seen them! YZF took top score in, I can't remember which map, was it Tobruk?, and Red took tops in Battleaxe with a score of 80+...about 30 points more than me, and I came in 2nd! You know me too, I'm a massive flag whore, so these guys must have really hustled to outscore me. Great job guys! Your fraggin' skills are definitely something to brag about now.

Thanks for noticing my caliber of play this evening. Battleaxe, oddly enough, has always been a favorite of mine. It is pretty much even both sides, the spawn points are all relatively close, and the trenches help the infantry go unnoticed as they cross the battlefield. I would say that at least half of that score was pursuing and capturing control points, but eliminating the opposing team's soldiers kind of goes with the territory here, especially if our team holds the majority of the points. I spent a little time in the Sherman and Panzer, but I normally avoid vehicles on this map if at all possible. Thanks again, Ron, for the kind words. They say practice makes perfect. I intend to get as close to that as possible. See ya on the battlefield! *69*

Nice work Sean-John (HEHE) anywho, as this is the toot section...I have a new story.. Playing on our server after work yesterday, I scored the most unbelievable kills...I was playing guadal as axis, with sheep, and our airfield was getting plane/tank camped pretty hard...I finally got a zero off the ground and got some airspeed. For some reason I decided to climb to higher altitude, and just then I saw a corsair carcass being abandoned over our airfield. As I was already in a climb, I just pulled back on the stick to point back toward the airfield to investigate...by this time I was at maximum altitude... PUFF, PUFF, PUFF damn AA all over me..not sure how he could see me up this high but I had to bail. Now normally I would fall to a few feet of the airfield before opening my chute, but I accidentally opened it as soon as I bailed...DAMN now what!! I was still eating flak on my decent from the strasphere, so I just haphazardly threw all my expacks down below..KABOOM..to my amazement, the I killed the aa gun and 2 enemy!! Thats right punks!! Dont mess with a certified explosives expert!! Never in a million years could I pull that off again...

Hehe Monkey, I can just see that... WTF? Expacks falling from the sky??? Uh oh... BOOM!
Roger that! YZF & Voodoo was kickin' asss lastnight. I remember Voodoo owning in that tiger at Kursk... Well, that's before I TK'ed him when he ran over my mine. Sorry bro. Next was Aberdeen, where YZF was looking like a veteran tank jockey. On the other hand, I totally suck lastnight, one map I TK'ed soo much, my score at the end was 0-14-10... sad ladd...
