Congrats on your promotion! So, what are you going to do with that pay raise? Sell the Saturn and buy a Vette?

Thanks fellas, we definitely need to have a team night out again sometime soon. BTW I'm not leaving until November, so I have a little more time on the island. LOL Red, it's definitely time for a new ride. The Saturn has served me well, but I need something that better matches my immense ego. I'm really not much of a car person though. I mean I like nice cars, but to tell you the truth, I don't really enjoy driving. In fact I find that I get some of my best sleep while driving. I do have my eye on a WRX wagon though.

Woot. Sheep. Is it now SSgt Sheep? I think it must have been those intermittent BF2 breaks that helped you out.

Roger that LZ! It was hard taking a break but it was worth it.
Those Hummers are definitely macho. I likes 'em, but I'm really not into trucks too much. I like the way cars perform much better. I think the best car I've actually driven lately is, believe it or not, a Ford Focus. I rented one in Frisco and it was a real nice ride - peppy and fast on the turns. I've seen a couple of them modded out and they look kinda interesting. But eventually I think it'll be a Subaru Imprezza wagon or a Volvo turbo wagon for me. I don't know why I like wagons so much. I just think they look cool and they are also more functional than a sedan.

Have you checked out the audi or benz wagons? they look a little better then the "traditional" wagon and have some pretty decent performance.
I was looking at the Jeep Liberty because I was thinking of maybe going to diesel, especially with these damn gas prices. Plus I think diesels should be able run on bio-diesel (the stuff made of french fry oil) without any modifications? Saving money and the environment, how can you beat that. ;D
Lets plan something after I get back. Anytime after 8/13, but I still need to file my taxes (I filed an extension) so lets make that after the 15th. lol.

If you liked the Focus, you should take a spin in my car. Then again, you have to shift past 2500rpm once or twice You could also always get the Magnum. V8 Hemi power putting out 340hp, can't beat that. Plus, I'm pretty sure they come with cylinder deactivation that basically turns it into a V4 when you are just cruising around, and switches back to all 8 when you step on it. One of the magazines was testing it, and they couldn't tell when it was switching the cylinders on or off, no matter how much they tried.

Where are you LZ? Are you in Japan again? I was hoping to have a Clan Date Night on Saturday Aug 13th, or maybe the Friday before. It's my b'day on Saturday so I figured I'd celebrate my mid-life crisis with you fellas, but the weekend after should be just as good.

I wish I was in Japan. Im pretty sure the girls there dont smell like garlic (being that its the hottest part of summer doesnt help either). Im in Korea again. Im currently on Osan AFB. Were holed up in the Turumi lodge (pretty nice place) to work on a charrette for some Osan HS additions.
Im scheduled to return 8/13 in the morning, but I was going to help out my temple with their bon dance that night. Plus I dont know how much gas Im gonna have when I get back. Flying back home normally tends to drain the crap out of me, must be that damn international date line. lol. But... we can try that saturday if you guys want. No guarantees on my part though.

The map was Dalian Plant. I was in the Chinese army and defending the south docks from attackers in my Type 98 tank. I not only held the South dock from the Marines but shot down the Cobra down 4 times. The flag only changed once durring the entire game, which was when I went to capture the Reactor towers. With the help from Tako and his supply crates I managed to remain in control of the South dock the entire time repelling all attackers. WoOt!!! Of coarse the Chinese won the map.
