Trance, maybe I'll hit you up at Dixie Grill this weekend. You're by Pearl City you say? I can probably drag a couple of 69ers with me. Whaddya say?
BTW, I have to toot my horn today, not in BF2 but in real life. I made it through the Air Assault Course, Day 0. Day 0 is used to determine one's eligibility to attend Air Assault School. Basically I got smoked for 6 hours in the rain and mud trying to maneuver some moderately dangerous obstacle courses. I'm not particularly fond of heights and some of the obstacles were very tall, not to mention slippery with rain and mud. I thought I was going to be with Jesus a couple of times there. I can't remember the last time I was as dirty and exhausted as this morning, but at the same time I haven't had that much fun in a long time. Anyway, I officially begin class on Tuesday, so you probably won't see much of me for 10 days after that. The highlight of the Air Assault Course is rappeling out of helicopters, but we also learn about Pathfinding as well as the sling loading of vehicles. Wish me luck fellas.

So that is what you were talking about on TS. I heard most of it, but I didnt realize it was a precursor to Air Assault School! Hope you get an Air Assault badge for that! ;D

I had no doubt in my mind that you would do it. When you are done you have to show off that new badge that you get or is it a ribbon?

LOL i sent them to VR and he didnt post em (hes my default ) so then I sent em to LZ too. Okay, mine were from putting a TVM though the side of a full black hawk couple times, (vr you flew on the last kill and we ended and won the round with my killings:) ) LZs were on that little ass map that i hate where the US always wins by capping all the flag in 5 seconds using a full black hawk. He put down two of them that round Nice work. thanks for the post VR!!

Since you're talking about killing Blackhawks, I tried to shoot one that was hovering really low with my Anti-tank launcher. The frikkin rocket went right through the open doors and did no damage! I was impressed because I didn't think the programming and modeling was that precise.

Hah, damn helicopters and their holes. Actually we were getting rocked on that map. Army was piloting that black bird of death and fortunately I spawned out of site with a view of a little bit of the chopper nose peaking out from behind the fenceline. I lined-up, locked on and BOOOOM! Headshot Im trying to find the soft spot on tanks/vehicles, anyone find any interesting info? If modeling physics is as accurate as I think it is, you probably want to shoot your rockets near the pilot area in the choppers. I havent tested this, but I think you may be able to damage the pilot and even kill him even if you dont trash the chopper. A chopper with no pilot 20ft from the ground often does not bide well for its passengers ;D
