So, what is this with all the "excellente" pilots out there? Elmo, Stevess, VR, screw it, all of you can fly those birds perfectly. I just got a question, how many of you bought a joystick especially for this game? I congratulate you on kicking so much ass in those air vehicles . . . I'll just keep trying to make you crash and burn with my FAV . . .

After seemingly endless hours of flying I finally got pretty decent with the plane: 48 kills in a row with the bomber! It almost felt too easy. I still have to figure out how to bomb with the fighter jet. I'm still trying to fine tune leading the machine gun as well for dogfights. The copter on the other hand is a surefire guarantee of death for me. As Marc suggested I probably have to adjust the sensitivity of my joystick. I wind up losing control far too easy and then wildly trying to correct my position.

The copter on the other hand is a surefire guarantee of death for me. As Marc suggested I probably have to adjust the sensitivity of my joystick. I wind up losing control far too easy and then wildly trying to correct my position. To set the sensitivity you have to go under the Mouse Settings. By adjusting your mouse sensitivity you will affect your sensitivity to the joystick. Because the game is set up for mouse by default, the sensitivity is around 3.00. Leaving it at that means you have to be light on the joystick or you will overcorrect all over the map or until you crash. Reduce the sensitivity to 1.00 and flying will be easier.

I feel that the 2-seater bomber is, like me challenging Tiger Woods at matchplay... STUPIDLY UNFAIR!! But, I'd have one helluva time doing it... Just like how I feel when flying the 2-seater with a good co-pilot (Maxen), both of us are just racking up the kills, and having a jolly good time doing so. Our only deaths are from me fkn crashing into something (usually a tower). After a few dozen kills or so, I feel pity , and ease off. Bottom line... If you're a somewhat decent pilot, but can evade like a mofo... You've got the gold.

no one can evade you VR, you shoot lazer beams or something, seems like everytime i get into a dogfight with you I end up in a huge fireball of shame.

Yeah VR is definitely the king of the 69er sky, but I did shoot him down in a dogfight tonight! Evading him is not an easy task, but I think I put enough pressure on him in the air so that my team was able to cap flags and win the Gulf of Oman. I'm proud to say Maxen, Ryland, and myself were able to come back from behind and beat the mighty forces of VR, EZ, LZ, and Tongan.
I must say, even though Ryland has the most kills with C4, I think EZ is by far my worst enemy when it comes to explosive deaths. Man he defended the heck out of that top flag in Dragon Valley. It was suicide going in there one at a time so finally I found two other guys to help me out.

We are just lucky monkey doesnt play this game. He pretty much made my gaming experience hell any time he was on the other team in bf42!

Actually, it would seem that BF2tracker puts me at 1.46 hours a day. But I hear ya; often times I'm stuck in two worlds... trying to infiltrate an enemy base in BF2, while at the same time being involved in an... er... amazing discussion about romantic movies with the female.
